Greetings Mustangs!
And just like that, we are into the month of June! Our Seniors have completed their academic requirements and had their first marching practice today (06/02). We also had another successful Spring Fling this past week, wrapping up today after we had a special Senior Recognition Assembly in which our Seniors received their academic and/or athletic cords, stoles, and t-shirts. That was followed by the Yearbook dedication (congratulations to Dr. Ross!) and then the distribution of yearbooks. There was a school-wide BBQ, an ice-cream social, and games/activities for all. What a great way to wrap up the week for all of our students and staff!
The High School State Track and Field Championships will take place at Cony High School on Saturday (06/03) beginning at 10:00am. Also on Saturday, Oak Hill High School will be hosting the MVC Baseball and Softball Championships. Our Baseball team will be playing against Oak Hill; and our Softball team will be playing against Hall-Dale. Both games will begin at 11:00am AT Oak High School. Best of luck, Mustangs! You’ve got this!

ALL students are invited and encouraged to be part of this team! For more information, please connect with Ms. Darrell and/or Mr. Shain.
Say NO to Bullying! Bullying is NEVER OK, and has NO place at MA. We take great pride in maintaining a school environment in which ALL students and staff can feel safe and secure. Summer School Update: We are in the process of looking to hire summer school staff. If we are unable to get a teacher for each of the 4 core content areas (Math, Science, English, and Social Studies), we will consider utilizing the online credit recovery option through Educere for the subject area(s) that we are unable to fill. Either way, we would be offering students the opportunity to recover what they missed on the following dates/times: 06/20, 06/22, 06/27, 06/29, 07/11, 07/13, 07/18, and 07/20 (each day from 8:00am - 12:00pm) at MA (rooms TBD). Just as soon as I have more information/details to share, I will get that right out to you. Thanks!
That’s it for this week’s newsletter. Take care, stay well, and enjoy your weekend!
Respectfully,
Mr. Ted Finn, Principal
